My Project 365 and Photography

This One Photo A Day Project (Project 365) is so amazing!! I am still doing it and so totally loving every moment of it, even more now than ever before...

This project is just unbelievable!! Besides just being so much fun, it has done so many other things for me!! Obviously, it has made me really pay attention to how I'm taking photos and has given me the perfect medium to finally learn how to come more familiar with the processing and editing of the shots. But more importantly, it has completely changed the way I look at the world... I mean my world is completely different now!! Absolutely EVERYTHING has become art!!! Nature, old and new buildings, busy and deserted streets, street signs, cars household items, people, animals... everything!! It has really expanded my view of photography!!
But even outside all of that, this project has totally kept me motivated and going on and even Mona has started to take participate by telling me what I should take photo of and even posing for me, she is really getting good at posing for pictures now, lol...

But what I love most, is each night, to be able to sit with my laptop and get lost in the processing phase and editing of the shots I took earlier in the day. I am so totally digging this phase of 'post processing' and I got some many cool new actions in photoshop that it makes me dizzy with the choices I have to face when processing the photos... lol
I even started to edit and process older photos, even our wedding photos.. lol... but I will share those later on...
You can see all my shots for the project by clicking on my Flickr sideshow in the side bar.
I also joined Liz and Amanda (who are my inspirations in digital scrapbooking and Amanda who taught me a lot on photoshop via her amazing tutorials) at the Flickr group Project 365 among others who have incredible talent and inspire me to take great shots...

I got so many great shots while doing this project, but unfortunately only one a day can make the cut, as for the others, the runners-ups as we call them, will be saved for scrapping and even framing later on... But still I so much wanted to show off my shots that I'm even thinking of doing another blog just about my photography, but I just can't wait till that is done, so here are some of the shots that I want you to see... (brace yourselves, there are lots of photos!! and be happy because I didn't share all of them here... will post them later... lol)
Hope you enjoy them...

(ps: It was not her birthday, just a cake that we baked together, that she abosolutely needed to have candles on it to blow them... lol.. she is now asking me to bake cakes for her everyday just so that she can blow the candles....)
