It turned out to be an 'opening ceremony' for a CD that a group of singers made. The songs from the CD were all from famous and old Bollywood movies...
But the program was fun and there were lots of dancing and singing performances.
And we had 'lamb bryani' for dinner.
Mona of course, had lots of fun. She stuck with Negin (her dad's cousin) all the time and made some new friends (all of them much older than her!).
And when those little girls were performing a 'bollywood' dance, Mona wanted to go on stage with them. I told her that she couldn't go up there, but that she could go stand next to the stage and watch them dance, and that's exactly what she did!!
Then there were some of the dancers that were at the 'Indian Mela' who did a performance!
They were really good, and none of the four ladies were from Indian background.
Mona, Negin and their new friends all sat right in the middle of the hall to watch the different dance performances.
And here is a little video of Mona dancing along with the 'bollywood' dancers!
(My daughter is a great bollywood dancer too! It's in her blood afterall... lol)

When Mona saw these 3 little girls in their cute and colourful outfits,
she asked me: 'Where is Mona's dress like the little girls?'
I told her that she didn't have one, guess what she told me:
'We need to buy one mummy!'
lol...
Lots of people who came to the 'Bollywood Night' were dressed accordingly, and so did khaleh (auntie) Saghi... ;)
