Baha'i Prayer Books for infants & toddlers

This post is in response to Sarah and Mehrtash, from Virginia, USA.

Hi Sarah & Mehrtash,

The 3 Baha'i prayers books we bought for Mona, are small board books which are perfect for little children (as they can't rip it apart). You can see pictures of the books on this post here.
Each book, contains one prayer and on each page, there are illustrations for small children to better understand and memorize the words of the prayers.

The book titles are:
- Blessed is the spot
- O God Guide me
- O God! Educate these children

We got them from our local Baha'i library, here in South Australia.
They are published by the "Baha'i Publications Australia" and are available at the Australian Baha'i Distributions Services.

Hope this helps.
Feel free to leave me a message if you need more info.

Much love,

Hi Sabby! Thanks so much for the information! Those look like great books. Our daughter always wants to hold her own book during prayers, but the ones we have for her are typical paper ones, so she can pretty easily destroy them. Board books would be great…

It’s interesting that your daughter is named Mona – so is ours! Actually, she’s Monavar, but we call her Mona. Americans seem to have a really hard time trying to pronounce “Monavar”.

Hope that you and your family are happy and well!

Love,

Sarah (and Mehrtash and Mona)

Hi Sarah,

Your are most welcome.
I went over on your blog and saw some pics of your gorgeous daughter and family.
She is really beautiful and she seems to have blue eyes (just like my daughter too).
Does 'Monavar' means something special? Is it a persian name? Are you persian?
As you can see from my blog, I am not persian, but my husband is, i think we have that too in common!!

Glad and happy to have meet you and make a new friend.
Much love,
Sabby
