My heart is heavy to read of the news about the most precious gems of the world, the children, being increasingly harassed and abused.
Specially the Baha'i Children and Junior Youth of Iran.
It is my commitment to pray earnestly for the children who are suffering.
The plight of children all over the world rest heavy on my heart right now.
The children who are being persecuted for our beloved Faith must be prayed for.
How can we forget the children of Africa, of Asia, of South America and other parts of the world who are only losing parents to AIDS and violence and are suffering that terrible loss of not having the feeling of safety, love and nurturing but are often looking after their siblings as so many adults in their community are ill or have died.
And all the children who are facing big problems right now like child abuse and predators are causing heartache weekly in families all over the world.
If we unite in prayer, a difference can be made.
Can we also perhaps each commit to looking around us for children who require our love and attention and perhaps do just one act of love and which assists education for a child outside our home each week.
